How it works

How Hoverview works: one project record from design to report.

Hoverview keeps the purpose of a project connected to what the team plans, delivers, learns and reports. Start with a new idea, the framework your donor already wrote, or the project files your team is already using.

One connected project record

The same project record becomes more useful at every stage

Each step builds on work the team has already reviewed instead of starting another disconnected file.

  1. 1

    Bring the project together

Begin with a new project idea or the files your team already uses. There are 4 ways to start the logframe: import the framework a donor has already given you, write your own in the wizard, add rows one at a time, or let Hoverview work one out from your proposal and assessments. Whichever you pick, every line stays editable, so the project starts from one shared place instead of another set of documents.

  2. 2

    Connect intention to delivery

Keep the results the project aims to achieve connected to its activities, responsibilities, timing and finances, so the team can see what the work is meant to change.

  3. 3

    Build a current project record

Add delivery, progress, evidence, finances and decisions as the work happens. The project remains understandable without reconciling separate trackers every time someone needs an update.

  4. 4

    Report without reconstructing

Reuse work the team has already reviewed for internal, donor or funder reporting. Reporting becomes the next use of the project record, not a new exercise in rebuilding it.
