Logframe Studio

Logframe Studio: an AI-assisted logframe builder that stays with the project.

Built for humanitarian, development and philanthropic teams. Give Hoverview the project documents you already have and it reads them, sets out the problem, turns it into objectives and drafts the framework for you. You correct it, and nothing is added to your project until you say so. Or import the donor framework you already use and start from there.

Then results, indicators, activities, budgets, delivery and reports stay connected inside the workspace that runs the project.

Two starting points

Two ways to build a logframe: let AI draft it, or import your own

Design from what you already know

Hoverview reads your documents and lays out the problem: what is causing it and what it leads to. It mirrors that into the objectives, then offers you a few realistic ways of tackling it. You pick the one that fits your mandate and your capacity, and it drafts the framework from your choice.

Import an existing framework

Upload any project file. Where Hoverview already knows the donor template it reads it directly; where it does not, AI reads it instead. Either way, what comes out is a suggestion waiting for someone to accept it.

Four connected lenses

One framework, viewed for the task in front of you

The same records appear in four views. Changing lenses does not create another copy of the logframe.

Studio

See the results chain as a connected canvas and plan work beside the result it supports.

Grid

Read the logical framework as the familiar rows and columns used in donor documents.

Logic

Check how activities, outputs, outcomes and impact connect to one another.

Measurement

Work with indicators, units, baselines, targets and means of verification in context.

Human decisions

Does AI write your logframe for you?

It writes a first draft, not the final answer. AI proposes how the problem fits together and drafts the framework rows. You choose the strategy, you confirm the structure, and every baseline and target is yours. Anything AI wrote stays visibly marked as AI-written until someone on your team has read it.

Hoverview is not a one-click document generator. It is logframe software built so that, months later, anyone can still see why the project is shaped the way it is and what changed as delivery moved.

From framework to delivery

The output is a working project, not a file

  • Planned activities remain attached to the output or outcome they are meant to deliver.
  • Indicator readings roll into progress using the measure type recorded for that indicator.
  • Budget and expenditure records can retain the dimensions and result codes stated by the project.
  • Donor reports draw from confirmed delivery, progress and financial records rather than a fresh spreadsheet.

Common questions

Questions teams ask before they start

What is a logframe?
A logframe, short for logical framework, is a table that sets out what a project is trying to change, what it will produce along the way, how anyone will know it is happening, and what has to hold true for it to work. Most donors ask for one, and it becomes the summary the rest of the project is measured against.
Can AI write a logframe for you?
It can write a first draft, not the finished thing. Hoverview reads the project documents you upload, sets out the problem, turns it into objectives and drafts the framework rows. It does not choose your strategy: it offers a few realistic options and you pick the one that fits your mandate and your capacity. Every row waits for someone on your team to accept it, and anything AI wrote stays marked as AI-written until they do.
Can I import a logframe my donor has already given us?
Yes. Upload the proposal, results framework or reporting template as a PDF, Word, Excel, OpenDocument or CSV file. Where Hoverview recognises the donor template it reads it directly, and where it does not, AI reads it instead. Either way what comes back is a set of suggestions to accept, so nothing overwrites the framework you already have.
Can we change the logframe once the project has started?
Yes, and that is the point of keeping it here rather than in a document. Lines can be edited as the project moves, earlier versions are kept, and each change is recorded with its old and new value. Removing a line archives it instead of erasing the history behind it.
How much does the logframe builder cost?
Nothing for one project. Registration is open, no card is requested, and running your own project work stays free when billing opens. What will be paid for is seeing a whole portfolio of projects in one place.

Build the framework where the project will run

Start one project now with no card or billing. Logframe authoring is designed for a desktop workspace; weekly delivery reporting remains touch-friendly for field use.
